Documents are the key to your trip. You must remember that it is absolutely mandatory to provide a few documents while applying for a Portugal Visa from the UK. Application form: Correct and signed.
Recent Photographs: Two recent photos not older than three months. The images should match the criteria given below.

Being employed in any company, you will have to get a letter of leave with dates signed by senior staff. The letter should not be more than one month old. Also, bring the bank statements for the last three months, last three months pay slips, and an income tax return file.
If you own a business, give some business details, like the license number, the last six months’ bank statements, and the income tax return of the business.
If you are a retiree, then you will have to provide the pension statements for the last six months.
Documents for minor
If a minor is traveling with you to Portugal, the required documents are;
The birth certificate of the minor.
A Visa application form signed by both parents.
Evidence approved by the court is required if you have attained sole custody of the child.

In case the minor is traveling alone, a letter of consent form notary is needed to be signed by both parents. If the parents are not there, then the form should be signed by the legal guardian.
